Research Opportunities

Research positions are available at the undergraduate, graduate and postdoctoral levels. Our laboratory investigates a vast array of scientific questions pertaining to brain function and structure, and many interesting and rewarding projects are available. Some background in programming, math & engineering can be useful if you are interested in our research. Wet lab research opportunities are not available. As a first step, fill out the contact form above with your CV attached and/or provide information about your research interests, programming experience, academic background and STEM courses which you have taken.
Undergraduate students who consider volunteering their time should be willing to commit at least 10 hours per week in order for their experience to be fruitful, rewarding and valuable.
Graduate students should be willing to commit 20 hours per week. Prof. Irimia can serve as adviser to USC graduate students pursuing PhD degrees in Gerontology, Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering or the Biology of Aging. He can also serve as adviser to masters students in these and additional STEM disciplines.
Postdoctoral scholars are currently only being considered for full-time positions. Currently there are two such positions available; both positions are based on annual appointments with the possibility for renewal.
